City Center Newport News Rotary Club

The City Center Newport News Rotary Club gave $250 to HDCofHR to support the work it is doing to help people who are experiencing difficulty in being housed because they cannot afford the first month’s rent and the security deposit.   Thank you City Center Rotarians for helping HDCofHR to help others become housed.

Sister David Ann, Secretary of HDCofHR, was acknowledged by the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. as a 2011 Local Hero awardee through its Neighborhood Excellence Initiative. Each awardee received $5,000; Sister David Ann donated the money to the Housing Development Corporation of Hampton Roads.
