Quality, Affordable, Safe – characteristics identified in talking about HDCofHR’s housing units.  Ordinary repairs are expected and budgeted; however, when extraordinary repairs show up, that’s when HDCofHR requests assistance from its funders to help cover those costs.  Most recently, a tenant reported mold around the floor vents in the family’s two-bedroom home. The ductwork was the culprit and was replaced at a cost of $2,000.  Langley for Families, a great believer in and supporter of HDCofHR’s Mission, provided a $2,000 donation to cover the cost of the ductwork.  It is blessings like these that enable HDCofHR to continue “Rebuilding Lives One Home at a Time.”
