Among the 14 single-family houses in Housing Development Corporation of Hampton Roads’ housing stock is a small two-bedroom house in Hampton. When the floor in the kitchen began to sag HDCofHR suspected that there was something wrong with the Foundation. Inspections by 3 companies informed HDCofHR that there was extensive damage which needed to be addressed. Thanks to a $10,000 grant from Langley Federal Credit Union Langley for Families, HDCofHR is able to take care of these needed repairs and restore this house to a state of QUALITY and SAFETY and guarantee that it will continue to house individuals/families in need of AFFORDABLE, QUALITY rental housing.
