January 2023 – Housing Development Corporation of Hampton Roads’ annual goal is to purchase one additional housing unit. The Mary Morton Parsons Foundation awarded HDCofHR a $40,000 grant which will be used to purchase its 19th housing unit which will bring the number of single-family houses to 15.  Although HDCofHR is small, through its 15th house, one more family will have the stability provided by a QUALITY, AFFORDABLE house.  HDCofHR’s Board of Directors and tenants are grateful to The Mary Morton Parsons Foundation for the grant which enables HDCofHR to do its part to end homelessness. Grateful beyond words!
