The month of November has been a month in which HDCofHR has been richly blessed.

• Quality Advantage provided an accessible shower for a veteran, an amputee, living in one of HDCofHR’s housing units.
• The Daily Press – Ferguson Holiday Fund awarded HDCofHR a $1,500 Core Operating Support Grant.
• The Newport News Shipyard gave a $10,000 grant to HDCofHR, which will be used to purchase a house.

Thanksgiving Day is a day on which we have the opportunity to reflect upon and express gratitude for all the good that has been a part of our lives during the past year.  Every day is Thanksgiving Day for HDCofHR because on every day the generosity, goodness and kindness of people assists HDCofHR in fulfilling its mission of “Rebuilding Lives One Home at a Time.”
